Sonoma State University has appointed Dr. Hollis Robbins as the new Dean of Arts and Humanities. Dr. Robbins has served as Chair of the Humanities Department in the Peabody Conservatory and Director for Africana Studies at Johns Hopkins University.

Lisa G. Carreño graduated from The Catholic University of America and practiced law in Maryland and California. She directed the Maryland Commission for Women, YWCA Sonoma County, and 10,000 Degrees before joining United Way of the Wine Country as President/CEO.

Although Brent has a proven track record of motivating top performers in a highly competitive industry, her real passion lies with inspiring women to be the best that they can be physically at any age. Thirty days prior to her 60th birthday, Brent ran the Everest Marathon at 19,000 feet in 8 hours and 12 minutes! As an “ultra” marathoner and an international skyrunner (high altitude endurance races) she takes the sport to the next level.
Penny Gadd-Coster, Winemaker, Breathless Sparkling Wines
Penny brings more than 35 years of experience to Rack & Riddle and Breathless wines. A highly acclaimed winemaker, Penny began her career at Jordan followed by J and has mentored under the likes of Rob Davis, André Tchelistcheff, Oded Shakked and Raphael Brisbois. Her talents have earned numerous medals, 90+ ratings and the distinction of “Winemaker of the Year”.
Jenny Webley, owner, Portobello Hats & The Hattery
Jennifer Webley, owner of Portobello Hats and The Hattery of Sonoma County, has loved hats as long as she can remember. Influenced by her love of film and theatre, Jennifer starting collecting vintage hats at the age of 17. The Hattery provides an opportunity to teach the art of hat making to others and collaborate with clients on the design of bespoke hats for men and women.
